Calculate how many bags of self-leveling compound you need for floor preparation. Enter area and depth to get bag count with yield automatically adjusted for your pour thickness.
This calculator helps you determine how many bags of self-leveling compound to purchase for floor preparation, automatically adjusting coverage based on your actual pour depth.
Formula: Adjusted Yield = Reference Yield × (Reference Depth ÷ Actual Depth)
Bags Needed = Floor Area ÷ Adjusted Yield × (1 + Waste%)
Total area to be leveled
Common depths: 1/8" (0.125), 1/4" (0.25), 1/2" (0.5)
Typical: 10% for mixing losses and minor errors
Check product label for coverage specs. Default: 40 sq ft per 50 lb bag at 1/8" depth.
Product coverage per bag at the reference depth
