How it works and assumptions
Before estimating, read Calculating Concrete Shapes and Screed Bag Yields for measurement examples and the distinction between concrete, premixed screed and binder-only products.
Split an uneven floor into measured zones. A uniform zone uses its area and measured average thickness; a taper is accepted only as a rectangle with two endpoint thicknesses, so its average is calculated from its stated coverage rather than from unrelated spot readings.
Choose one product conversion: wet yield in litres per premixed bag, or dry consumption in kilograms per square metre per millimetre. The calculator keeps net floor volume, allowance-adjusted product to order, installed dry product where applicable, and whole purchased bags separate.
Use only a yield or consumption value verified for the exact premixed product, application thickness, and market. Binder-only products are not premixed bags: do not estimate them without the manufacturer's full aggregate-mix specification.
