How It Works

This calculator converts your gravel volume to weight, then divides by your truck's payload capacity to get trip count.

  1. Enter volume: Total gravel volume in cubic meters (m³).
  2. Select material: The material type determines density, which converts volume to weight.
  3. Select truck size: Choose from preset payloads or enter a custom capacity.
  4. Get trip count: Trips = ⌈Total Weight ÷ Payload⌉ — always rounded up.

Formula: Weight = Volume × Density; Trips = ⌈Weight ÷ Payload Capacity⌉
