Net is the measured in-place volume (area × installed depth). Ordered quantity applies the one entered loose-order factor and allowance. Bags then round up to full packs, so bagged material can exceed ordered mass. Select the price basis your supplier actually quotes; a blank rate remains an incomplete, unpriced line.
- Loose-order factor is the only installed-to-order conversion. Enter a density on the same loose/ordered basis; no second compaction factor is applied.

How it works and assumptions
Measure the finished bedding footprint and enter the intended installed depth. Then enter the exact supplier basis you plan to buy: a loose-order factor only if you need one conversion from installed to ordered material, the supplier’s bulk density, and bag mass if buying bags.
The result keeps four stages separate: installed net volume, ordered loose volume, ordered mass, and complete bags. It does not prescribe a bedding depth, aggregate gradation, compaction process, drainage detail, or construction method.
